    Great project! I wonder if it might be more appropriate for 7-8th graders, though--some of the concepts you introduce are really high level. Or, maybe I don't expect enough from 5th graders!

    2. Wiki: The wiki page will store all the websites and information the students need to complete their project. It is accessible anywhere the student has access to the internet, so the student does not need to carry books and papers around. The student can access the materials anywhere at any time.

    2. Wiki: The wiki page will store all the websites and information the students need to complete their project.     4. Kidspiration: This software allows students to plan and organize the information for their brochures. It is visually stimulating and more engaging for students than writing an outline with paper and pencil.
    5. Microsoft Publisher: Publisher makes it possible for the students to make an informational brochure. The brochure allows the students to produce writing and be more creative by adding photos and graphics. It is more engaging than writing the information into a paper.
